Blue Ridge took me by surprise. It is an adorable small mountain town with a ton of dining and shopping options. I’m not kidding about it being adorable. It is such a beautiful and charming place to visit I enjoyed my day getting lost on the main street in Blue Ridge, GA. It would be a great weekend break, day trip and/or stop on a road trip. Great Airbnb in Blue Ridge, GA
While on a recent road trip, we stayed in Murphy, NC which is about 30 minutes from Blue Ridge. We stayed in a cozy log cabin in the woods and it was perfect for exploring the area. Not to mention very dog friendly, affordable, and clean. This is a great Airbnb.
Best places to eat in Blue Ridge, GA
- Fightingtown Tavern: Great fresh eats, cool vibe with the rock music and cold beer. Can’t go wrong for lunch and/or dinner.
- Das Kaffee Haus: Good cup of cold brew. Made exploring and shopping that much more delicious.
- Three Sisters Fudge: Great place for a sweet treat. They don’t allow more then one sample so choose wisely.
Great Things to do in Blue Ridge, GA
- Wander and explore. I loved walking the main streets of Blue Ridge. It was, again, adorable.

- Try a local winery. We tried Crane Creek. It was decent wine with a great view and firepits!
- Take a ride on the Blue Ridge Train. Relaxing and beautiful. Perfect for the whole family.
- Take a scenic drive into the mountains. The Blue Ridge Mountain website has a great driving map you can download for free.
- They also have a great self-guided walking tour of Blue Ridge.
